If you’ve recently found yourself in the position of caring for an aging parent, relative, friend, or neighbor, you’ve embarked upon a journey that is unlike any other. Caring for an aging adult can be challenging, but with the right tools and resources, it can prove to be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.
Life’s little challenges can seem a bit easier when there’s someone by your side. This is especially true for the older adult, who may experience a range of emotions following the move to assisted living. For some men and women, this transition can be particularly difficult. This reinforces the need for an active support network.
We recognize this need for support, and we strongly encourage family members and friends to be actively involved in their loved ones’ lives. Active participation through visitations, telephone calls, and written correspondence help our residents to feel more connected and can significantly enhance their quality of life. Families and friends are always welcome to take their loved ones out to lunch, out for the day, or away for the weekend. If you prefer to pay a visit on our premises, we’ll make every effort to accommodate you.
